For the first time in nine years, the Egyptian men’s national basketball team has earned a spot in the 2023 International Basketball Federation (FIBA) World Cup! Egypt’s squad officially advanced to the championship’s top two slots in Group F with South Sudan after defeating Tunisia 71-67 in Alexandria.
This August, Indonesia, Japan, and the Philippines will co-host the 2023 FIBA World Cup, making history as the first time three nations have done so.
