Green hydrogen project in Ain Sokhna is approved by government
The creation of a $ 5.5 billion green hydrogen project in Ain Sokhna Industrial Zone was approved by the Egyptian government. A million tonnes of green ammonia could be produced yearly by the recently permitted project, which is expected to generate around 10,600 jobs throughout both the construction and operation phases.
In keeping with a worldwide and national ambition to advance industrial eco-friendly practises, the project is one of a growing number of national initiatives in Egypt that promote and incorporate clean energy sources.
