HISHAM KHARMA PARTICIPATES IN THE CITADEL FESTIVAL FOR MUSIC AND SINGING ON SEPTEMBER 3

Music composer & producer Hisham Kharma participates in the 31 edition of Salah El-Din Citadel Festival for Music and Singing (August 25 – September 7). Kharma’s concert is set to be on September 3.

Meanwhile, and as part of the International Summer Festival, Kharma is to perform a concert at the Open Theatre of The Library of Alexandria (Bibliotheca Alexandrina), on Wednesday, August 30.

This comes right after a full house concert at the Cairo Opera House, where Kharma for the first time performed his new track Kholkhal in addition to special tracks mixing between eastern and western instruments, such as Andalus, First Voyage, Kun, Hope, Valley of the Kings, Faith, Marrakech, Badr, Move On, Al Ghoroub, Al Yaqeen, Al Bedaya, and some popular tracks such as Helwa Belady El Samra and Shams El Zanaty, which add a nostalgic atmosphere to the concert.

 

About Hisham Kharma:

Hisham Kharma is a Music Composer & Producer, Creative Director & Social Entrepreneur. Born and raised in Cairo, Egypt and having lived in Miami, Hamburg, and Dubai; Kharma has been influenced by multi-cultural experiences that shaped his mind & is reflected in his music.

 

In 2016, Kharma kickstarted his live music concerts. Described by many as a World class show with an immersive soulful music experience; Kharma with his Orchestra has performed in major mega events & launches, and in major landmarks like the Pyramids, Cairo Citadel, & London Mansion House. Kharma Has released multiple top charting albums and singles; his first official release was “First Voyage” with Virgin Megastore and Hybrid records. His second album was with Sony Music in the “Arabesque” series along with Grammy-award winner Yanni and Can Atilla.

In 2019 Kharma started his film & series scoring career starting with “Al Nehaya Series” & the famous “Suits Arabia” series. In 2022, Kharma was chosen to compose the official music theme for COP27, the main theme for Cairo Drama Festival 1st Edition, and produce the World Fencing Championship official song.
