IN 2022, KASR AL AINY HOSPITALS RENOVATED FOR EGP 1.3 BILLION
Upgrades of EGP 1.3 billion have been made to Kasr Al Ainy Hospitals during the course of 2022 in order to offer patients free care. With a total bed capacity of 3,692 across Egypt, the hospitals, in collaboration with Cairo University, provide patient care through 16 branches, institutions, and centres.
50% of patients at Kasr Al Ainy Hospital were admitted to the emergency room throughout the year, while 27% received care at the facilities’ clinics. Kasr Al Ainy received referrals for 17% of patients from other hospitals, including university hospitals and facilities connected to the Ministry of Health and Population. Finally, 6% of patients came back to finish their treatment.
