The official spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs of India reiterated its long-standing policy on the Palestinian issue.
He said in an official statement:” India has always advocated the resumption of direct negotiations towards establishing a sovereign, independent and viable state of Palestine, living within secure and recognized borders”.
The Indian Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson also acknowledged that there is a universal obligation to observe international humanitarian law.
