Majid Al Futtaim to introduce simultaneous sign
Majid Al Futtaim the owner of Carrefour Egypt has teamed with Merge, a top information technology firm specialising in cutting-edge technological solutions for persons with disabilities, to introduce simultaneous sign language interpretation for hearing impairments.
As the first retailer in the industry to offer a service for customers with hearing problems, Carrefour is providing this for free at five of its stores.
