Maram Saied, an Egyptian athlete, TV host, and referee, is now the first Arab woman to serve as a referee for the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (IFBB).
The International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (IFBB) is the world’s premier bodybuilding and fitness regulating body. It was established in Canada in 1946 and is in charge of organising many of the sport’s major international competitions, primarily the World and Continental Championships.
Dr. Rafael Santonja, president of the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness, handed the green arbitration card for the Fitness Challenge, the most recent contest to be introduced to the organization’s events, to the Egyptian referee Maram Saied. She participated in the latest IFBB world championship, which was held in Spain, and obtained the title formally while holding a referee position in the IFBB “Fitness Challenge.”
