MOFEED FAWZY PASSED AWAY
Mofeed Fawzy, a well-known journalist and television host from Egypt, just passed away at the age of 89.
Fawzy, who has influenced Egyptian media since 1982, is regarded as one of the country’s pioneering presenters for originating his shows from Egyptian streets with his well-liked chat show, “Hadith El Madina,” which premiered in 1998.
The well-known host was noted for his outspoken talk shows, and over the years, he conducted interviews with numerous Egyptian artists, politicians, and celebrities, including the acclaimed author Naguib Mahfouz, pop star Amr Diab, and the trailblazing scientist Ahmed Zewail.
