NASA is preparing to launch its own streaming service, in a move intended to revolutionize the way the public engages with space exploration, NASA+.
Set for release later this year, the new platform promises free, ad-free access to live coverage of future launches, documentaries, and a host of new original series. The goal is to make space exploration more accessible and engaging, as well as to enhance NASA’s digital communications capabilities.
NASA Associate Administrator of Communications Mark Etkind said this shift will better enable the agency to report on its explorations, discoveries and innovations for the benefit of humanity.
