In an effort to break the previous Guinness World Record for the longest culinary marathon, Nigerian chef Hilda Bassey (Hilda Baci) cooked continuously for 100 hours, producing over 100 meals.
Lata Tondon, an Indian cook, held the previous record in 2019 with 87 hours and 45 minutes. In Lagos, thousands of Baci’s fans have gathered as Guinness examines the evidence.
