NOW YOU CAN CALL 15335 TO ASK ABOUT THE PREMARITAL MEDICAL EXAMINATIONS
To notify the public about the recently implemented premarital medical examinations, the Ministry of Health and Population has established a new hotline (15335).
The campaign covers screenings for infectious diseases including HIV and Hepatitis B and C as well as non-communicable disorders and diseases like diabetes, high blood pressure, and obesity. Moreover, counselling and health education are offered with the utmost discretion and privacy.
Negative findings will motivate parties to make measures to prevent both communicable and non-communicable diseases, while positive results will implement the referral system.
The Ministry wants to give people the knowledge they need to make wise decisions regarding their health and family planning.
