PEPSICO EGYPT AND CARE EGYPT CELEBRATE THEIR THIRD SEASON OF POTATO HARVEST
from Beni Suef, where the Ministry of Social Solidarity and @PepsiCoEgypt and CARE Egypt are commemorating the continuation of their “She Feeds the World” programme during their third potato harvest season.
The programme has assisted over 250,000 people in becoming more economically independent and more aware of the value of sustainable agriculture by empowering farmers and women throughout Egypt.
35 participants received certificates in recognition of their contributions to the “She Feeds the World” programme after speeches from the Governor of Beni Suef, Mr. Mohamed Hany Ghoneim, Mr. Mohamed Shelbeya, CEO of PepsiCo North Africa, Mr. Eugene Willemsen, CEO of PepsiCo in Africa, the Middle East, and South Asia, Dr. Hazem Fahmy, Executive Director of CARE Egypt.
