Samar Hamza, an Egyptian wrestler, became the first Egyptian woman in history to go to the Wrestling World Championship final round. the championship which is now taking place now in Serbia, Hamza defeated Estonian Epp Mäe 3-2 in the +76 kg freestyle semifinal. Hamza, who is currently 27 years old, has established a successful wrestling career and represented Egypt at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Also, she was the first Egyptian woman to win the bronze medal in the 2021 wrestling world championship. Hamza will face former world champion and Turkish wrestler Yasemin Adar in the finals tonight
