SAUDI ARABIA HOSTED ITS FIRST CHRISTMAS MASS

The Egyptian Orthodox Church just announced that on January 7th, Saudi Arabia had its first Christmas mass. Following Bishop Morcos’ month-long visit to the Coptic community in Saudi Arabia, which was organised by Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria, the mass was held. Coptic Egyptians living in the kingdom attended the mass.

The festival, which takes place in the middle of the kingdom’s evolving vision and cultural transition as part of its Saudi Vision 2030, aims to include diverse communities travelling to or residing in Saudi Arabia. In their hyperfuturistic USD 500 billion city, NEOM, the first cathedral of the Kingdom is also planned to be constructed.
