SAUDI ARABIA’S AIRPORTS TO START USING BIOMETRIC FACE SCANNERS

The Riyadh administration has declared that biometric face scanners would soon replace boarding passes for all travellers leaving from within the city in an effort to simplify airport security.

A new system is being implemented at King Khalid International Airport that will allow travellers to speed through security with just a quick glance at a screen, doing away with the requirement for printed or digital boarding permits. With the help of the airline’s partnership with the global technology provider SITA, convenient and safe international air travel will now be available from key cities all over the world.
