Sharm El Sheikh gets ready to ban single-use plastic completely soon.

Under the auspices of her excellency Dr. Yasmine Fouad, Minister of Environment & South Sinai governorate, Sharm El Sheikh is getting ready to ban single-use plastic completely soon.

Also, a series of cleanups in Sharm El Sheikh were conducted by the Ministry of Environment, UNDP, and South Sinai Governorate and were initially supported by the European Union and the Swiss government.

Youth, Bedouins, the local community, women, children, and Sharm El Sheikh professionals all worked together to clean up the area.
Additionally, this week will see a number of protectorates in both land and water that will participate in a series of cleanups, the first of which is in Nabq.
