The United Nations for Arts has awarded the Egyptian actress Somaya Elkhashab an honorary doctorate.
Along with artists like Magda Nour El Din, Essam El Sakka, Ahmed Fahim, Hamza El Eily, and Dina Howeidak, she received a prize for her artistic accomplishments.
The play “Casino Badiaa,” in which Sumaya El Khashab just made her theatrical comeback, also stars Edward, Ahmed Fathy, Alaa Morsi, Tarek El Ebiary, Alaa Zinhom, and Emi Talaat Zakaria. Ahmed El Ebiary wrote the play, and Tarek El Ebiary is the director.
