The Sultan hussein Palace in Heliopolis has been turned by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology into an inspirational co-working environment and business hub after considerable repair work. The 114-year-old palace, built by French architect Alexander Marseille in 1908 and formerly known as the Sultan Hussein Kamel Palace, has been a public school for the past 50 years. After the renovation, it currently includes workspaces for local and international businesses, initiatives, and people in addition to startup incubators and tech laboratories.
