TAHRIR COMPLEX CONVERTS INTO A HOTEL BY THE EGYPTIAN GOVERNMENT
The Sovereign Fund for Investment and Development’s request to convert the Tahrir Complex building to a hotel has been granted by the Supreme Council for Planning and Urban Development.
The Tahrir Compound will become Cairo House in order to become a five-star hotel and multi-use development.
The more than $200 million development plan seeks to renovate the complex in order to provide a ground-breaking combination and development of building uses, to reinvent downtown Cairo, as well as the future investment in the Egyptian economy.
