THE GIRAFFE FROM “THE LAST OF US” IS REAL AND HIS NAME IS NABO
Although many people alleging it was CGI, the giraffe from the #TheLastOfUs Season 1 Finale is real.
Nabo the giraffe hails from Alberta, Canada, where some of the show’s filming took place, and he goes by the name of Nabo.
The location manager for the show responded to a question regarding the choice to utilise a real giraffe with, “Sure, you can construct a giraffe with visual effects, but it’s simply not the same.”
