THE NEW HIGH-SPEED TRAIN WILL CONNECT AIN AL SOKHNA AND THE NORTH COAST
Ain Sokhna and the North Coast, two of Egypt’s coastal destinations, will soon be connected by a new high speed train. The train, which will be constructed by the French construction firm NGE, will run from Alexandria’s Borg El Arab port on the Mediterranean Sea to Ain Sokhna’s Red Sea port.
A second high-speed train is scheduled to connect Cairo and Luxor as part of Egypt’s growth plan for its railways and transportation systems. Although specifics on the high-speed train’s operating schedule have not yet been disclosed, it appears that summer weekends at both locations may soon be hassle-free.
