THE YOUNGEST ALZHEIMER’S PATIENT EVER DIAGNOSED IS A 19-YEAR-OLD CHINESE MAN
According to a study that was published in the Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease, a 19-year-old man from China is now the youngest patient to receive an Alzheimer’s diagnosis.
The diagnosis was finally made as a result of the teenager’s obvious memory impairment. Given that Alzheimer’s disease is primarily found in the elderly population, this is an extremely unusual and unique instance.
