THIS JANUARY 25TH, THE CAIRO INTERNATIONAL BOOK FAIR RETURNS
The 54th edition of the Cairo International Book Show, which has more than 1,000 publishing houses in attendance and is the largest and oldest book fair in the MENA area, will take place on January 25 at the Egypt International Exhibitions Center in New Cairo.
Thousands of people visit the Cairo International Book Fair each year to participate in an annual celebration of Arabic literature and heritage and to browse a wide selection of books from the most renowned publishers and bookshops in the area, including Egypt’s Dar Al Nahda and Palestine’s Samir Mansour.
The two-week fair, which runs through Monday, February 6th, will feature around 3,000 performances and other cultural events and activities this year.
Except for Thursdays and Fridays, when it will be open from 10 AM until 9 PM, the book fair will be open daily from 10 AM until 8 PM.
