Written by The Dose Team

Yasser Abdel Hady, the Chief of the Solar Research Laboratory at the National Research Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics (NRIAG) said that Autumn started today at 9:49 am.

He affirmed that the season will last for 89 days.
During an equinox, the Sun crosses the “celestial equator.” The Sun’s center passes through the equator.

After the autumnal equinox, days become shorter than nights as the Sun continues to rise later and night falls earlier, this slowly leads to the winter solstice
