TOMMY FURY DEFEATS JAKE PAUL BY A SPLIT DECISION

Following the Jake Paul vs. Tommy Fury outcome in Saudi Arabia earlier tonight, a number of professional boxers posted comments on social media.

The bout between Paul (6-1 boxing) and Fury (9-0 boxing) took place this evening in Diriyah Arena in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia.
The fight, dubbed “The Truth,” had a weight limit of 185 pounds and was intended to last eight rounds of three minutes each.

The 26-year-old Jake Paul entered the ring with a perfect 6-0 record, his most recent triumph coming against UFC Hall of Famer Anderson Silva via unanimous decision. Before that victory, Tyron Woodley, the previous welterweight champion of the UFC, was knocked out by “The Trouble Child” in their rematch.
Tommy Fury, meanwhile, came into the ring in Saudi Arabia with an 8-0 professional record and was undefeated. The British fighter scored four knockout victories in his eight career victories.

Overall, the “Paul vs. Fury” battle tonight was a nice one. Tommy Fury was able to establish his jab early in the match and used the strike to land more punches overall. Fury appeared to be in the lead going into the eighth and final round following two contentious point deductions. In spite of a brief knockdown in round eight, Jake Paul was unable to stop Fury, who once more fought back to land more strikes overall.
