YOU CAN GET TO THE GIZA PYRAMIDS AND THE GRAND EGYPTIAN MUSEUM VIA THE NEW CAIRO METRO LINE
A new line is being added to the Greater Cairo Metro that will transport you from the city centre of Cairo to the Grand Egyptian Museum and the Giza Pyramids!
A credit deal of USD 301 million was struck by the Japan International Cooperation Agency and the Egyptian Ministry of Transport to support the construction of Cairo’s fourth metro line. The deal serves as the second payment for financing Line 4’s initial phase.
The proposed line’s first phase, which will be 19 kilometres long and feature 16 stops, will actually link the 6th of October to the fringes of Giza and Cairo.
