The entrance price to the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir will be waived in honour of the discovery of King Tutankhamun’s tomb 100 years ago.
The oldest museum in the Middle East will open its doors to Egyptian residents, visitors, and foreigners living in Egypt of all nationalities on November 23.
The museum, which was founded in 1902, is the repository for a vast collection of more than 100,000 unusual artefacts and antiquities.
